General

All of Rubber Rolls formulas for both rubber and polyurethane roll covers have been developed in-house by our technical staff

Rubber

Purple Plus Our newest compound
Blue Multi-Max A blue, synthetic non marking covering; a very tough, abrasion resistant material which approaches the abrasion resistance of polyurethane at less cost, available in 70-75 Shore A hardness
Coreseal A very hard acid resistant material used to encapsulate a metal core and journals for protection against cutting and chemical attack of the core. Our Super Sub series covers are normally applied over this material.
Pro-Rez A new rubber roll cover which has proven very successful for severe caustic and acid applications. Available in Shore A hardness of  70 and 80
Rub-Roc A true "bone hard" rubber cover, when a very hard cover is desirable, very resistant to abrasion, cuts and chemical attack, Shore D hardness of 55-60
WearRite An extremely high abrasion, cut and tear resistant compound which exhibits excellent dynamic properties, in 75-80 Shore A hardness.

Polyurethane

SuperCril Is available in hardness of 70, 80 and 90 Shore A durometer. It possess high load bearing capacity, good fluid resistance with excellent abrasion and tear resistance.
UltraCril Is available in 80, 90, and 95 Shore A durometer and in 60, 70 and 75 Shore D durometer hardness. This polyurethane's exhibit very low heat build-up under high load - high speed operations. UltraCril's abrasion and tear resistance compares closely with Ultra-Max, with its fluid resistance similar to SuperCril.
Ultra-Max Is available in 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 Shore A durometer and possess exceptionally high tear and tensile properties with superior abrasion resistance and excellent oil resistance.

Non-woven Roll Cover

CD Roll Is made of a non-woven material( compressed discs) which is appropriate for many roll positions. When used in the correct application, it will provide very long cover life and top performance. It's chief properties are a very high coefficient of friction, elasticity and chemical resistance, offering a ling life and a "self healing" characteristic against minor cuts or indentations. Hardness and cover material type will depend on the customer's particular processing requirements.
